Dieter Rams, who worked as the Head of Design for the German brand Braun between 1962–1995, is known for his timeless, functional and aesthetically pure designs. His legacy certainly influenced all of us. Designing a product for such a brand requires respect for masters as well as courage.

For this conceptual product we designed with great motivation and feeling of responsibility, we aimed at rendering functionality simple, far from complexity. The transmission of sound through the concave form of a hailer was the influence on our design. This form is abundant in our life from musical instruments to many others and the body of the speaker salutes it, reaching the hidden light at the bottom. We hope to have done justice to Rams’ principle “Less, but better”.
