The concept of beauty which changes in between cultures is one of those differences. Something which contradicts our established understanding of beauty may be received with much appreciation in another culture or community. With our chair Isra, we questioned this concept. The sinuous backrest enveloping the user clearly defines the sitting area, which becomes even more visible with the use of different colors for upholstery. One of the most important characteristics of Isra is its ability to adapt to different interiors with alternative legs while preserving its iconic look.
